Validation of Comodo EV Certificates

Comodo Extended Validation SSL Certificates (EV SSL and EV SGC SSL) achieve the highest level of consumer trust through the strictest authentication standards of any SSL certificate. Comodo requires authentication documents to be sent to them for the Extended Validation (EV) SSL Certificates to be issued. As well as for GeoTrust and Symantec EV Certificates the validation is carried out solely by the Certificate Authority and is based on the Guidelines accepted by the CA Browser Forum

Validation Requirements for Comodo EV SSL and EV SGC SSL Certificates are listed at https://secure.comodo.com/ev/validation_process.html
