Once the domain expires, it enters a Grace period. For generic TLDs (.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, etc.), you have approximately 27 days to reactivate the domain at its regular renewal price once it enters the Grace period.
Note that .AU, .CH, .ES, .FR, .LI and .SG domains does not have a Grace period and must be renewed not later than 12 days prior the actual expiration date, as per the regulations of their Registries. .DE domains must be renewed not later than 5 days before the expiration date.
Follow these instructions to reactivate a gTLD during the Grace period:
1. Sign into your Ekhteear account and select Expiring Soon from the left sidebar.
2. Find the domain you'd like to renew, click the caret to expand the list of services and add it to your shopping cart. Then click the View Cart button:
3. Click the Confirm Order button and proceed with the checkout:
After expiration, a domain name may be reactivated for one year only. You will be able to renew it for more years in 24 hours.
Once your domain is reactivated, please allow 24-48 hours for the changes to take effect globally and for the website to come back online.
If you don't find your domain in the Expiring Soon section, that means it has passed the Grace period and is now in the fully expired/redemption state. For details regarding reactivation of a domain name in this state, review this article.
That's it!
